The Change in Therapy

I believe that we can decrease undesirable behaviors and thoughts through the power of connection. The change in therapy occurs when we are presented with an authentic relationship in a safe environment. Simplifying and gaining empowerment through psycho-education are crucial in helping usher in an alternative view of our world.

Breaking it down, for change to occur, we focus on three areas: Self-Awareness, our Environment, and our Social Support. Self-awareness refers to our own thoughts, a desire to change a cycle which exists in our lives. Secondly we explore and dissect what Environment we are in, as well as what Social Support we have in order to achieve our desired outcome.

Having a discussion with a therapist, we naturally challenge our own thought patterns through an understanding of our actions in relation to people and places around us.
